Easy Designer Paper Cards

This is a set of 3 cards that use the technique Stack, Cut, & Shuffle. They all have the same Pretty Peacock Card Stock base. Three different designer papers are stacked, cut, & shuffled for the three cards. Designer paper is layered onto Crumb Cake Card Stock. There is also a strip of Lost Lagoon Card Stock that is embossed with the Basic 3D CrossHatch Embossing Folder. The greeting is punched out of Basic White Card Stock with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. A linen thread bow is attached and Purple Fine Shimmer Gems are added for some embellishment.

Make some Easy Designer Paper Cards with the Stack, Cut & Shuffle Technique!  Choose three different designer papers that coordinate together.  Simply stack all three designs together, make two different cuts, and finally shuffle all the designs for three different cards.  Below are three different set of cards to inspire your Creativity!

Easy Designer Paper Cards (Stack, Cut & Shuffle) Card Supplies

  • Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set
  • Heartfelt Hexagon Punch
  • Perennial Lavender Designer Paper – 3 3/4″ x 5″, 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, 2 1/4″ x 6″ (envelope flap)
  • Pretty Peacock Card Stock – 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Crumb Cake Card Stock – (2) 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Lost Lagoon Card Stock – 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
  • Basic White Card Stock – (2) 3 3/4″ x 5″, scrap for greeting
  • Memento Ink Pad
  • Basic 3D Embossing Folder (Cross Hatch)
  • Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
  • Linen Thread – 16″
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Seal+
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Dimensionals

Instructions for Easy Designer Paper Cards Easy (Stack, Cut & Shuffle)

  1. Fold & burnish card base @ 5 1/2″, set aside
  2. Stack Designer Paper, make sure all designs are going the same way.  Place the designer paper with the directional pattern on its side and cut @ 3 1/4″.  Set the 1 3/4″ wide pieces aside.  Take the largest pieces and turn the designer paper so the design is up right and cut @ 2 1/4″.
  3. Shuffle the designer paper so one pattern is on each card.  Layer the designer paper onto crumb cake card stock, adhere to card base with dimensionals
  4. Emboss 3/4″ strip of Lost Lagoon Card stock with the Cross Hatch Basic 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to card front covering up the seam.
  5. Stamp Greeting on Basic White Card Stock scrap, punch out, adhere to card front with dimensionals
  6. Tie double bow with Linen Thread, adhere with Mini Glue Dot
  7. Embellish tag with Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
  8. Adhere remaining designer paper to envelope flap, trim off excess
