Spotlight on Nature Fun Fold

This is a fun fold card with a Misty Moonlight card base and designer paper. There are two circles added to the fold to create dimension. The bottom circle is Boho Blue card stock and die cut from the Spotlight on Nature dies. The top circle is die cut from the dies as well. The image is colored with Boho Blue, Night of Navy, and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels add the a touch of glimmer and the Jute Trim bow adds some warmth to the card.

Let’s create the Spotlight on Nature Fun Fold!  It’s a simple fold using a 4″ x 12″ piece of designer paper. The addition of layering the Spotlight on Nature Dies creates a great dimensional layer.  

The Spotlight on Nature stamp is adds a beautiful focal point that is easy to color with the Stampin’ Blends.  It’s easy to use every design in the Country Lace Designer Paper collection and create a beautiful collection of cards. 

The Jute Trim adds a warm touch to the card.  Don’t forget to add some Wink of Stella to the flowers for that extra bit of glitz.

Spotlight on Nature Fun Fold Card Supplies

  • Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set
  • Spotlight On Nature Dies
  • Country Lace Designer Paper – 4″ x 12″, 1/2″ x 4 7/8″,  2 3/8″ x 6″ (envelope flap)
  • Misty Moonlight Card Stock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, 4″ x 4″ (circle die cut), 3 3/4″ x 5″ (inside layer)
  • Basic White Card Stock – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (circle die cut), 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
  • Stampin’ Blends – BoHo Blue, Night of Navy, Old Olive
  • Memento Ink Pad
  • Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels 
  • BoHo Blue Jute Trim – 24″
  • Wink of Stella
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Seal+
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Dimensionals

Instructions for Spotlight on Nature Fun Fold Card

  1. Score designer paper at 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 8 3/4″ and burnish on each score line
  2. Adhere Designer Paper to Misty Moonlight Card Stock
  3. Adhere the 3/4″ section over to the front, each end then is folded to the inside
  4. Adhre designer paper to Misty Moonlight Card Stock (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)
  5. Stamp greeting on inside Basic White Card Stock, adhere designer paper strip to bottom edge, adhere to Misty Moonlight Mat
  6. Die Cut large circle from Misty Moonlight, adhere 1/2 of the circle to the front inside left flap
  7. Die Cut smaller circle in Basic White Card Stock, stamp flower image with Memento Ink, color with Stampin’ Blends, adhere to card front with dimensionals
  8. Use Wink of Stella on flowers
  9. Unravel 8″ of Boho Blue Jute Trim,tie double bow, adhere with Mini Glue Dot
  10. Embellish with Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels
  11. Adhere remaining designer paper to envelope flap, trim off excess
