Simple & Easy Card Sketch

This is a simple & easy card made from a card sketch. There is a die cut circle with a stamped floral image and colored with BoHo Blue & Old Olive Stampin' Blends. The greeting Thanks is in the upper right corner of the circle. Designer Paper is matted onto Misty Moonlight Card Stock. BoHo Blue Jute Trim is wrapped around these two layers and a bow is tied. This is adhered to a white card base. And envelope is stamped and colored in with Stampin' Blends. It is embellished with Iridescent Pearls.

Let’s create a Simple & Easy card using Card Sketch #17!  This is the third version of this simple card sketch.  It also gives a Sneak Peek of the Spotlight on Nature & Country Lace Designer Paper from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog that will be released on May 1st! 

The image is easy to color with Stampin’ Blends and the card is quick to assemble.  You will love how the Jute Trim adds a warm touch to the card.

Simple & Easy Card Sketch #17 Vol. 3 Card Supplies

  • Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set
  • Spotlight On Nature Dies
  • Country Lace Designer Paper – 3 3/4″ x 5″, 2 3/8″ x 6″ (envelope flap)
  • Thick Basic White Card Stock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (card base)
  • Misty Moonlight Card Stock – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Basic White Card Stock – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (circle die cut)
  • Stampin’ Blends – BoHo Blue, Old Olive
  • Memento Ink Pad
  • Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels 
  • BoHo Blue Jute Trim – 24″
  • Wink of Stella
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Seal+
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Dimensionals

Instructions for Simple & Easy Card Sketch #17 Vol 3 Card

  1. Fold & burnish card base @ 4 1/4″, set aside
  2. Adhere Designer Paper to Misty Moonlight Card Stock
  3. Unravel 24″ of BoHo Blue Jute Trim, use 2 stands and wrap around the Designer Paper & Card Stock mat, tie a bow, adhere these layers to card base with dimensionals
  4. Use remaining Basic White Card Stock to die cut large circle
  5. Stamp floral image and greeting on die cut, color with Stampin’ Blends
  6. Adhere circle to card front with dimensionals
  7. Use Wink of Stella on flowers
  8. Tie double bow with BoHo Blue Jute Trim, adhere with Mini Glue Dot
  9. Embellish with Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels
  10. Adhere remaining designer paper to envelope flap, trim off excess

The greeting Thanks is in the upper right corner of the circle. Designer Paper is matted onto Petal Pink Card Stock. Copper Clay Jute Trim is wrapped around these two layers and a bow is tied. This is adhered to a white card base. And envelope is stamped and colored in with Stampin' Blends.
