This is a holiday card with a Crumb Cake card base that is embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. There is a layer of Mossy Meadow card stock and strips of Season of Green & Gold designer paper. There are die cuts from Gold Foil Paper and designer paper. A Nested Essentials label is die cut from Very Vanilla card stock. A greeting is stamped in Cherry Cobbler & Mossy Meadow. The card has a Linen Thread bow and red gems as well. A envelope has a gold patterned paper attached to the flap.

 

Let’s Create A Holiday Card.  This Card Sketch #28 can be used with things you have in your card making supplies.  Many sketches use scraps of designer paper like in today’s card to create a simple & easy card! 

Designer Paper strips can really be any size in your scrap collection.  A simple label for the greeting is all you need and some bling embellishments!

Create A Holiday Card Supplies

  • Greetings of the Season Stamp Set
  • Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
  • Nested Essentials Dies
  • Crumb Cake Card Stock:  5 1/2″ x 81/2″ (card base)
  • Mossy Meadow Card Stock:  3″ x 5″
  • Gold Foil Paper: Scrap for foiliage
  • Basic White Card Stock:  Scrap for Label Die Cut
  • Season of Green & Gold Designer Paper:  (3) 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″, Greenery Image, 2 3/8″ x 6″ (envelope flap)
  • Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Seal+
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Rhinestones Basic Jewels
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

 

Instructions for Create A Holiday Card

  1. Score & burnish card base @ 4 1/4″
  2. Emboss card front with exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
  3. Adhere Mossy Meadow Card Stock to card front
  4. Color Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend, adhere to card front
  5. Stamp greeting – Christmas with Mossy Meadow Ink, Merry with Cherry Cobbler Ink
  6. Adhere fussy cut image to label, adhere to card front with dimensionals
  7. Tie a double bow with Linen Thread, adhere with Mini Glue Dot
  8. Color Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend, add to card front
  9. Adhere remaining designer paper to envelope flap, trim off excess
