Day #31 of the DSP Sale Celebration ends with an easy DSP Ornament card with the Tis the Season Designer Series Paper. It’s a simple origami fold to create each tree layer that my friend Elaine recently showed me how to create.
Start with 4 sizes of DSP – 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, 2″ x 2″, 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, 3″ x 3″. Fold in 1/2 both ways, then folded corner to corner both ways.
Assemble Tree:
Start with the 3″ square first. Fold in 1/2 (photo 1). Fold in the sides (photo 2)

Fold lines need to be creased well with each step.

Bring the front right triangle towards the center to create the fold in photo 3. Do the same on the left side to complete a layer of the tree. Each layer is tucked up inside the other. Use glue dots or Tombo Multi-purpose glue.
Two of the trees back to back will create an ornament.
Check out the how to video to create it!
Shopping Supply List:
Cute card. Really like the snowflakes embossed on the white paper for added pop. The Christmas season is quickly approaching!
Patty, definitely remembering to use the embossing folders for a background adds so much dimension and texture.
I love this for something different to make!
It is Beautiful
It is different type of card to make. It’s not hard, just a little time consuming.
The tree is so cute on a card! I was just thinking about making these tress this morning too!
